Welcome to the Venom & Velvet Ltd website. By accessing or using our website, or by placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Venom & Velvet Ltd. 

 

2. Eligibility

By placing an order you confirm that: 

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.

  • You are authorised to use the payment method provided.

 

3. Products

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, colours, textures and finishes may appear differently depending on your device or screen settings. We cannot guarantee that the colours displayed on your screen will exactly match the finished product. As our garments are individually produced and printed, slight variations in positioning, colour or finish may occasionally occur. These variations do not constitute a fault. 

 

4. Pricing

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£). Prices include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted. If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the order before dispatch. If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued. 

 

5. Payment

Payments are securely processed using Shopify Payments. Accepted payment methods may include: 

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Shop Pay

Payment must be successfully authorised before your order is processed. We do not store your payment card details. 

 

6. Order Acceptance

After placing an order you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not mean your order has been accepted. Acceptance of your order occurs when we dispatch your goods. 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

  • Payment cannot be authorised.

  • Fraud is suspected.

  • Incorrect pricing has occurred.

  • Stock is unavailable.

  • We reasonably believe our Terms & Conditions have been breached.

If your order is cancelled after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued. 

 

7. Dispatch and Delivery

Please allow up to 5 working days for your order to be dispatched.

Orders are delivered using Royal Mail or another courier such as DPD where appropriate. Delivery times provided are estimates only and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control. Once your parcel has been handed to the courier, delivery times are the responsibility of the courier. 

 

8. Risk and Ownership

Ownership of goods passes to you once payment has been received in full and the goods have been delivered to the delivery address provided. Risk in the goods passes to you upon successful delivery. 

 

9. Returns and Cancellations

Consumers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving their goods. After notifying us of your cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Returned items must:

  • Be unworn

  • Be unused

  • Have all original tags attached

  • Be returned in their original packaging

  • Be in a reseleable condition

Customers are responsible for return postage unless the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect. Full details are available in our Returns & Refund Policy. 

 

10. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, we will arrange: 

  • A replacement

  • A repair

  • A refund

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 

 

11. Garment Care

Customers should always follow the care instructions supplied with each garment. We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, ironing or general misuse. 

 

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website is owned by or licensed to Venom & Velvet Ltd. 

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Logos

  • Brand names

  • Graphics

  • Clothing designs

  • Artwork

  • Product photographs

  • Images

  • Website content

  • Text

  • Videos

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Unauthorised use may result in legal action. 

 

13. Website Use

You agree not to: 

  • Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of our website.

  • Introduce viruses or malicious software.

  • Use our website for unlawful purposes.

  • Copy or scrape website content without permission.

 

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Venom & Velvet Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability in relation to any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order. 

 

15. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website you agree to the collection and use of information as described in that policy. 

 

16. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: 

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather

  • Industrial disputes

  • Government restrictions

  • Courier disruption

  • Power failures

  • Cyber attacks

 

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 

 

18. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase will apply to your order.
